The Best in Show
Do you think your car can win the top prize at Barbican Turbo, the Middle East's premier custom car show, including custom cars, modified cars, car tuning, bikes and motorsports? Do you think your car is better than the 2009 winner, Ahmed Abdulla's custom orange Chevrolet Silverado?
Formerly the Top 100, the Best in Show will see the greatest custom, modified and tuned cars in the region fight it out to be number one and win the "Best in Show" trophy. The UAE Power Championships
Also new at Barbican Turbo in 2009, the UAE Power Championships was a major hit with tuning and motorsports fans from all over the region. The Dyno competition was run over 3 days on the 4-wheel Dyno operated by Mainline Automotive Equipment from Australia. With categories including 4 Cylinder FWD Turbo, 6 Cylinder RWD, 6 Cylinder RWD Turbo, 6 Cylinder AWD Turbo, 8 Cylinder, 8 Cylinder AWD and 10 Cylinder AWD, the overall UAE Power Champion was won by the lime green Lamborghini Gallardo TT with twin turbo chargers and a massive power output over 1011.9 BHP!

The Barbican Turbo UAE Sound Off, now in its 3rd year is run by sound and audio experts SAFE (The Society of Auto Owners and Filipino Expats). This is the ultimate in car audio and in-car entertainment. Stereo against stereo, custom fans can battle it out to find the loudest and best installed stereo in the region with trophies up for grabs too.
